You’re officially a collegiate runner. Welcome to the club. Running can be a such a joyous, empowering, and adventurous sport. Running can also be miserable, soul crushing, and exhausting sport. It all depends on the day. Throw in going to college as well as running competitively, and well, your asking for a life with never a dull moment. If your wondering how to survive being a female college athlete and a student at the same time, well, look no further since I am currently working through all the ups and downs of being a female collegiate Cross Country and Track athlete myself. Full warning in advance, I am far from perfecting the balancing act of being a collegiate athlete, so take my tips and advice with some caution and hope that I can provide you with some more meaningful benefits beyond just providing you with some great Instagram caption ideas. Yet, if you ever need someone to remind you what exactly makes running the best sport in the world or someone to rant to when your questioning why you ever decided to run in college in the first place after feeling a ounce of stressed, then well, I’m your go to girl and this will be your go to place.
